papsphilip Posted October 2, 2023 Share Posted October 2, 2023 Is there a way to have the ortho grid ruler show up as background in my orthographic camera view? by default it shows up without a camera, just changing viewport (Left, Right, etc) you have your ortho view and the ortho grid as background, but if i make my own ortho views the Display Ortho Grid is greyed out in the Display Options. I would like to turn it on per camera, not as global setting. Some should have this ortho grid others not. so if you export a flipbook you will also see the scale of your objects. Display Options --> Guides --> XY plane etc, is not what i am looking for. You can't automate that to change depending on your camera and also there is no ruler available as an option.
