thekenny
do they let you do that in apprentice now? I can't remember... last time I tried I couldn't.. but you could still write your own opsave inside a for loop in the textport -k
andyM
sorry...can i hijack this thread? how about writng part of the simulation to disk. i have a dop sim with a fractured object and two passives colliding with it. works great, but if i just take a file node from the solver, i end up caching the passives too. they're already animated, i don't need them cached and they're slowing the process down. is there a way i can split the fractured object off after the solver for caching? or any other suggestions also welcome.... cheers
michal
Is "Render output nodes" missing in Apprentice version?
CeeGee
Import your fracture object into SOP, with DOPImport and cache only that fracture dynamics simulation
