AntoineSfx
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_Egyptian_hieroglyphs You can get started by installing the font: NotoSansEgyptianHieroglyphs-Regular and make the curves with Font SOP. Now how do you make a convincing carving ? I can see that there are several styles, I' m taking about the most advanced ones, like this: knowing that we have to start from something like: The 2.5D effect doesn't seem trivial, but now that Houdini gives access to ML, I can see a few ONNX models that could help with this. like depth-anything, apple depthpro, Meta sapiens, that would help with segmenting and estimate the depth... - not sure if they all exist in a format that works with H Any thoughts ? Librarian
@AntoineSfx ??? exactly what you want to achieve?? ( TO model these or just have some Setup to make reliefs ) This its Made by mold not Carving . In Artcam long time ago I have made those By making first vectors Contour then sculpting to make those not 2.5 more like 2.7D effect They used MOLD 99.2 % . Use COPS and OpenCL if you need reliefs with divergence NORMAL .someone posted FILE on TD Forum for Houdini.
