terencemace Posted January 11 Share Posted January 11 How would something like this be approached, where I could animate the “spikes” forming? I’ve looked into the diffusion growth, but it doesn’t seem to be a good approach for these spikes. At least not from what I see. I’ve seen other approaches on Odforce, but unfortunately they don’t achieve the flat, very sharp spikes. Please see attached of the IRL shapes. Appreciate any insight. terencemace Posted January 11 Author Share Posted January 11 Hey Librarian, Thanks for your thoughts. Yes, that ice blast technique does create ice spikes, as attached photo. But the shapes are too blobby and rounded. The reason this look doesn’t really work for me is that I need flatter, sharper shapes. Like iron spikes.
