Point deform normals issues on fractured object

im trying to point deform RBD fractured object , but it seems im getting normals issue or maybe overlaping faces ,i have tried to increase the max points on point deform but still appear on some spots,

is it because of bad topology ? or am i missing something ?

Note: im deforming the fractured object because later on i want to dynamically remove constraints .

i don't know about the normals, but you can get rid of overlapping faces if you introduce interior detail before the point deform

however i would reconsider the approach what you are using to achieve your final goal

because the idea of deforming the fractured object doesn't feel right to me... though i don't know what is your final goal

what i want to do is like metal deformation with dynamically breaking constraints  so because of that im using the fractured geo for deformation , i also tried to add interior detail by subdividing the interior geo but still same problem

so you want to create metal deformation but also to be able to break up the metal into different pieces?

maybe check out the collapsing building example here, because there's a really interesting way at the end how the fracturing/tearing geometry is deformed
