sanostol
Hi, after searching the forum without results, how can adjust the size of the particle that is used for the collisionPOP? right now my particle collide as perfect points, they do not have a radius like in the interactPOP Martin
rdg
right now my particle collide as perfect points If I remember right, I read something about: either offsetting your collision geometry with something like a peakSOP and/or offsetting your particles from their points when copying the instances to them. old school
If you aren't using the stick or slide options, you can use the Collision Tollerance paramter. As of Houdini7, you can use a varying expression. This allows you to have a hint attribute on your points to simulate say a bolder hitting and bouncing on your collision surface. I attached a simple trivial file showing this in action vary_collision_tollerance.hip. If you want stick or slide, offset the collision surface as rdg mentioned.
