sanostol
Hi, i have following problem where i got stuck. I emit particles all over the scene and some cross a volume at a certain moment during the timeline. now I want to delete all other particles that are not inside the volume at this time or ever. i created a group with a volume to get hold of the particles and then I added a attribute on them with a value of one if inside. but as it changes over time I thought I could do something withc chops. but as my post suggests I failed how can I solve this
sanostol
solved it! I imported the points with a geo CHOP and added a trim CHOP for the desired frame, and put it back to geometry. now I could delete with a expression. but maybe someone has a other way, woudl be cool to know
Marc
Did you create the group in pops? If so then just turn on 'preserve group' and it'll keep all those particles in the group. Now you can either kill those particles or delete them in SOPs. M
