Combining Displacement And Surface Shader

Hi.

This probably might be because I haven't read enough of help or probably missed it somewhere, but I have problem creating a material that would have surface and displacement properties.

I have read, that I need to export displacement and then dimport it in surface shader, but I have hard time doing it with VOPs.

If someone can give me somthing like a step-by-step guide - I'd REALLY appreciate it.

I have found a shader that does this on this forum, but I cannot replicate it for some reason. All I need is some procedual texture connected in displacement shader and a lighting model in surface shader - that would be more then enough for me.
