How To Have Better Control Over Displacement In H9.

Recommended Posts

Hi,

Need to ask how to have better control and grip over your displacement in H9 also is there a way to cheat it through bump mapping cant seems to find it . Thanks .

cheers.

From a technical rendering perspective, you can adjust displacement fidelity using the Shading Quality and Ray Shading Quality. You can also set the True Displacement and True Ray Displacement toggles so you can run your displacement shader like a bump (and incur the appropriate savings because of it). Depending on your needs, you can adjust HOW it dices up geometry for displacement/shading as well.
