johnnyreno
Hi there, Recovering maya user here twelve-stepping my way through Houdini. I've modeled a zebra character and now I would like to add a mane to it. As I have only recently gotten off the maya I'm not really sure where to begin. I checked out the vex hair tutorial posted and I just don't get it. If anybody has any thoughts or Ideas on how I might go about this I'd most appreciate hearing ( ..er seeing) them. Although I've sworn off maya for good, it still has a lingering effect on my thought process so please be kind enough to dumb it down for me. Much Thanks... MG
There's a thread devoted to creating hair... not really a tutorial. It involved combing the normals of a surface and then duplicating strands over it (surfaces). Well, I can't exactly remember it. Try searching it. edward
When you search, make sure you set the date to search from the beginning and not just the last 30 days. http://odforce.net/forum/index.php?s=57d04...t=ST&f=21&t=396 http://odforce.net/forum/index.php?s=57d04...act=ST&f=9&t=
Xiangbuilder
Sorry, I don't read the thread with enough staidness. Sorry for my poor English.
