canadianboy
Hey guys im wondering is there a database out there with tutorials, literature, vids, demo reels of everything houdini? If there isnt we should make a thread or something and get one started. Ive been doing lots of digging and saving as many things for learning as I can and I just thought this would be a cool idea. michael
we've tried to list as much as we can on theWIKI and we've discussed trolling through the forums and digging out all the examples that people have uploaded over the years...but it's a huge job... we'll talk it over some more and see what we can get started... canadianboy
yeah it would just be nice for people just learning like im doing right now to just have it all right there instead of spread all over the net and some of it hard to find. Marc
yeah the wiki is the perfect place for it... So please feel free to add what's needed if it's not in there. If we all do our part then it can be the be all and end all of Houdini resources . I agree though, there is a lot out there that's not in the wiki. canadianboy
on a side note anyone know where I can get my hands on some of the older 3d Buzz material? I saw them mentioned in some posts from abck in the day but have had no luck finding them. They could be pretty useful.
michael
If you sign up to 3DBuzz you can find the old Houdini VTMs in the VTM section under Houdini...
