Importing 3ds Max w/Brazil Plugin

I was wondering if anyone knows how to import a 3d studio max file that used Brazil for texturing into houdini?

When I imported, I got the geometry but no textures or shaders. The model is something I bought: http://www.exchange3d.com/cubecart/cars/mu...0/prod_646.html

I am trying use this for a small student film and as a way to learn Houdini (I have no other 3d experience).

Any help would be much appreciated. I am getting kinda desperate and don't want to scrap this shot.

Do I need to do anything special to import the UVs or with regular import work?

If there are UV imported, will they show up in UV view?

Still very new to Houdini and 3d modelling in general, so sorry if you have to bear with me.

at best you'll get the uv's and so you can re-apply the textures...

but you'll have to redo the shaders
