cspears2002
I'm working through the "Introduction to Dynamics in Houdini" DVD from digital-tutors. I'm working on the grass tutorial. Basically, I'm going to generate grass from a grid and some wire objects using a Fur SOP. However, when I plug these objects into the Fur SOP, I get the following error message: "The two sources have unmatched geometry." What does this mean? I attached my scene file. chris_grass_v05.hipnc
JDenker
I see no Errors in your File. Maybe its too late.. but the FurSOP is not causing any Errors here. I'll check it on a different machine tomorrow. Cheers -J
Jason
FYI, I see this in the Journal. Perhaps it's a fix that might help you? Tuesday, March 25, 2008Houdini 9.1.194: Fixed a bug in the Fur SOP that could cause uninitialized memory to be used when the "furlength" attribute is modified through a CVEX shader.
