goldleaf
I'm trying to import some obj models into Houdini that consists of different pieces of geometry, but Houdini imports them as one piece, and I can't find a node that separates or breaks them apart. How can this be done in Houdini?
kubabuk
If you middle click on the file SOP you should see some groups you imported geometry comes with. Use delete SOP to separate them. If your geometry is a one big chunk, possible solution would be to apply connectivity sop and partition SOP after it with the $class expression in the Rule field. k. I tried that, but I cant get it to work. Could you provide a screenshot to illustrate the concept?
