malexander
Lots of processing power, but 236W peak power consumption? Yikes... The price is a little off-putting as well ($650), especially considering the ATI 4850 and 4870 were just released at $200 & $300, and provide excellent performance for their value. I'd wait a few months for the inevitable process shrink to 55nm or below (it's 65nm right now). The good news is that the 9800GTX, an excellent card, has been pushed to the $200 mark. Sweeeet! malexander
Incidentally, anyone interested in getting a GTX 260 or 280 might want to wait until Monday -- apparently they are dropping in price from $650 to $560 (280) and $400 to $360. Not a huge drop, but you can use it towards your electric bill
