Is it possible to make the spec pass to have alpha? is it possible to do 2d motion blur like after effect's smart motion blur? If so, you can use a Lumamatte COP. is it possible to do 2d motion blur like after effect's smart motion blur? I'm not familiar with After Effects' smart motion blur, but you can enable motion blur on any transform node (Transform COP, compositing COPs). This will apply motion blur to any animated motion you keyframe in that node, though it won't add blur for images that have moving elements within them.
