Tamis
I was playing with the OpenOffice math module witch allows you to write formulas like sum from {n=0} to {infinity} {a_n sin(w*t)} This would then result into a actual image of the formula. Now i bet this type of feature is available for a forum like this? i don't know how many people will use it but is sure looks cool [math] * [/math]
Marc
It would be great... and something like that is in the wiki, but I don't think there's a plugin for the forum. I will certainly take a look though. M

vmuriel
I used a nice japan blog some time ago with LaTeX enhancements, Info about how to use LaTeX: http://blog.s21g.com/articles/687 Direct form to dynamic LaTeX: http://formula.s21g.com/ For LaTeX newbies, try to enter that formula: \left|\sum_{i=1}^n a_ib_i\right|
Marc
Sure... the wiki has latex markup, but I'm not sure if the forum does. The physicsforums use vbulletin, so that doesn't really help ... I'll keep looking for a plugin.
Tamis
I was searching for IP.Board LaTeX and i saw multiple requests for a math plug in. Then i noteced in the documentation: http://www.invisionpower.com/community/boa...umentation.html (first one) that IP.Board stands for Invision Power Board. After doing a search for invision power board LaTeX i found this dutch physics forum: http://www.wetenschapsforum.nl/index.php?showtopic=89283 they have LaTeX working.
