edward Posted August 15, 2008 Share Posted August 15, 2008 No, but you can read .bgeo files at render time. 1. Save your geometry as .bgeo 2. Create a Mantra: Delayed Load SHOP. Give it the path to your geometry. 3. You can generate .ifd snippets (see the Mantra Archive ROP- but its not well documented I'm afraid) and you can source them into other IFDs. I think you might need clarification from SESI on this workflow. There used to be a way in 8.x to AutoArchive Geometry out to .bgeos for use with Delayed Reads but currently you might have to do this yourself; perhaps with a Geometry ROP. You can use the ROP dependencies to help with this to some degree. We're still hoping AutoArchiving returns some day, perhaps in a different form... I know I miss it a bit.
