[question changed] pop, force pop, sudden angle change.

Recommended Posts

Hi all, Question added below on my new reply.

Hi all,

I have a source pop and a force pop in the pop network.

I made the force pop to effect the particles after 10 frames of timeline with certain value of turbulence.

if($F > 10 , 1, 0)

When its frame 10, the particle gets sudden angle change like popping.

How should I fix this?

Hi there.

I made a hip with you explanation that you gave,

Can you put the parameters that are doing the popping, like you say.

or upload the hip

In this hip there is no poping ?

Thanks for replying but I thinks that is not what I wanted..

Here is the Hip File.VOPSoP_jyoo_004.hip

See how the angle of the primitive get pop up on frame 10.

Thanks!

Hi again,

I made a small modification in the copy node.

Unchecked :Transform Using Template Point Attributes.

I am not to sure if this is what your are after, however this will eliminate the popping effect that you don't like.

And the pieces on the particles stay in there original position and don't sudddenly rotate the angle to a completly differnent one.

hope this is some help for you.

Thanks Mangi!, that was what I forgot..

However, why is this scene getting so slow when there are more than around 20 X 20 resolution in grid sop..?

I guess its because of the copy sop..

Is there any way to make the scene lighter? or faster if its possible??

Thanks a lot.
