anupamd Posted November 17, 2008 Share Posted November 17, 2008 Hi Guys, I'm just starting out with houdini and wanted some help. I'm working on a breaking bathroom tiles effect where tiles fall off a bathroom wall and shatter on the ground. I've got the tiles falling off nicely, but I would like them to shatter into smaller pieces upon impact to the ground. I'm not sure what the cleanest and best method to do this is. I know how to use the cookie sop to create 1 shattered tile block then glue them together. But how do I do this for each piece of tile. I guess what i'm looking for is a way to "copy stamp" my single tile setup over a grid. Any suggestions would be welcome. In the FAQ, look for number 8 - "How do I do destruction in layers, starting with the largest pieces and adding smaller ones to approved previous layers?" Hope it helps!
