SpencerL
Isnt it a bit confusing to have takes in ROP's ? I dont remember such behaviour in v8... How is it confusing? It allows you to specify what take to render out. Its great for setting up various render passes.

kumpa
it is very nice indeed to be able to specify which take to render, but i usually create one ROP for each take/pass, and each time i do so i have to go to main take, and if i dont, i have to check each rop in each take again
old school
Yep I hear you Kumpa. It does seem a bit counter-intuitive but once you know, you know. Takes requires you to be aware that you are using takes... :bag: We should add a warning in all the ROPs about this: Please make sure to be in the root Main take when setting the ROP's take pass ... jason_slab
hey personally i feel that you shouldn't be able to modify rops while in takes, and another thing, if your in a take and you drop a node, auto takes are automatically enabled, this causes some major issues. and another one, i'd really like it if that if auto takes are enabled, that the main take is greyed out, so that it prevents someone(like me:)) from modifying the main scene by accident!! jason
kumpa
what about small check box saying: Enable take modification in ROP ? Warning would also good enough.
