melazoma
what could I do with vorticles ? many people around me can't understand it. Vortices are just particles that act like vortex forces. Vortex + particles You can use vorticles to stir-up a low-resolution volume simulation that's not moving a lot. Vorticles can "push" the volume from the inside, which gives you more movement/details Edited February 12, 2009 by melazoma
ykcosmo
I get understand it a little now, but still can't understand how to use it. -.-!
curveU
Maybe you could just do some tests with different vortex values? You may get some ideas from the results. I get understand it a little now, but still can't understand how to use it.-.-!

SpencerL
As far as setting it up properly, it is best to use the vorticle shelf button. Basically, around each vorticle is a "paddle-wheel" force which makes your fluid more turbulent.
jason_slab
there is also a some vorticle settings on the smoke solver, under the forces tab! pretty cool stuff jason
