scp
Hi all, Was just wondering what the best way was to snap a wire. I've got a wire dop sim that when it reaches a certain point I want to snap in half. Thanks for your help, Simon
jason_slab
have a look at "Attach constraint to Dynamics Point" on the wire shelf menu, basically you need to create 2 wire objects, constrain them together to form one wire, you can then deactivate the constraint at the frame you want ,or maybe when it reaches a certain velocity! hope that helps jason
scp
Thanks Jason, I'll definitely take a look.
Allegro
Any ideas on how how might approach this if there are n number of wires? The glue constraint driven by velocity is great when doing a single wire, but I'm not exactly sure how this might be set-up when using multiple wires. You wouldn't want them all to break at the same time.
