Raymond Chua
hi guys, I just want to ask, due to the recent interest in H, if there is a possibility to revive those challenges? Hopefully those experienced H users or Admins can look into this? I myself is interested to try and learn from challenges and I guess a lot of people might be interested as well, especially new users. Marc
Hey Raymond We'd love to revive the challenges, but sadly we find ourselves pressed for time in other areas so it tends to get lost in the mix somewhere. Having said that though, we are actively seeking people to manage and run with the challenges. So if anyone thinks they'd have the time and the inclination to work with the challenges and manage the judging etc. then please drop me a pm and we can try and get this thing going again. I personally think they're great, so I would love to see them continue. Thanks Marc

Maybe the "lead" for the challenges can just throw in a topic, and let the "students" work it out, helping each other. To reduce the workload, the "lead" or other experience H players, can just post their comments once a week? I think every small comments help. It shouldn't require a lot of time and effort in managing the challenge and let the "students' have the room to help each other. That way, instead of waiting for the "lead" to comment and over reliance on the "lead", the "students" will have no choice but to help each other. Unless, we are all selfish 'students." I think using this philosophy, it will be model situations where schools do not have good teachers yet the students are determined to learn. But of course, we must have a group of interested participants for the challenges. What do you think? I am just trying to suggestions. Hope you don't mind. regards, -ray
