mattd
I am wondering if any of the polygon formats support multiple uvsets, and if maya can read them. This forum does not let you seach for 'uv' so the search has come up dry. MD

mattd
hmm, I have been trying them with no luck. I have tried point and vertex uv's, and the second set is always ignored in maya. FBX export from maya with multiple sets does work. Also the fbx file that houdini puts out reads back in fine to houdini. I think the maya import may be buggered. I'll slink off to a maya forum now.... I am pretty sure obj files don't work, since the export/ then reimport to houdini loses the multi sets. villain
you could export your object multiple times, once with uv1, then uv2, etc. then import them into maya and copy the uv's onto one object. of course if you have lots of uv's and objects, it will be quite a hassle in maya
marvelaugusts
This plugin currently consists of an exporter, importer and a utility plugin for 3ds max and gmax for read and writing Gamebryo/Netimmerse related files.
