hatrick
Hi, I d like to do a kameramovement over a veryvery long distance... like from "micro" to "macro"... I know some solutions in comp with layerblending a.s.o. but is it possible in Houdini with textures?...I ve heard about a multiresolution texture method in maya where the resolution of the texturemap is calculated by camera distance... Would be very nice if you could help me a little further... Thx
Jason
Houdini rat files are multi-resolution/mip-mapped images which do exactly this. Be sure to convert to .rat format using icp or iconvert first.
