Faizol
Hi all, I'm thinking of getting new hardware and been thinking of getting ATI card. The latest ATI catalyst driver on windows solved lots of problem concerning ATI gfx card and 3d application. Is there anyone here who is using ATI's card and Houdini on Linux? Can anyone give any inputs on that? TIA. best regards, Faizol
michael
do a search here and at the SESI forums and you'll find lots of threads on ATI cards... the general feeling is that nvidia cards are better and less problematic... HTH
Marc
I'm not entirely clued up on ATI cards and their drivers, but I know we tested one at work around a month ago and it was completely unusable in Ubuntu. I believe all the drivers were up to date at the time
