bhaveshpandey Posted June 21, 2009 Share Posted June 21, 2009 (edited) i dunno if anyone else has faced this issue.. problem is that i'm not able to render with newer version of mantra..but only with H8 mantra.. i do not get any error messages but the renderer doesnt just show up..even if Mantra is opened and then if I hit render nothing is initiated though i could use H8 i would still wanna know why this is happening. running Houdini 10.0.295 thanks EDIT: also the H8 Mantra is not rendering any shadows..i also tried by applying a pyro shader to a sphere converted into a fog volume but again if i select new mantra node for rendering the frame nothing happens...and if i use H8 Mantra, there are no shadows in the render....ironically the image rendered using VIEW MANTRA (default view render) renders the image with shadows any suggestions?? dan_cgi Posted June 22, 2009 Share Posted June 22, 2009 Hi there, i had the same problem running 10.0.295. I could render with the default render but when i wanted to use a mantra render... nothing.
