ziggx
Hi folks, I keep hitting a brick wall on this one: ! have a polygon box feeding a point sop. This is then fed into a copy sop and templated to another polygon giving me a "rubik's cube". I've stamped the inputs in the copy. My problem comes when I try to animate the colors of each stamped box with an expression like rand($PT+$F). I expected to get solid colors on each cube but instead I get some faces with artifacts (see attached). If any kind person can point me in the right direction, I would be very grateful. TIA Ziggx
eetu
Hard to say without seeing the hip file, looks a bit like duplicate geometry or shader problems. Here's a simple remake, no need to use stamping as you can take advantage of attribute inheritance inside Copy SOP rubik.hip
