udhay
Guys I was just wondering whether there is a way to ignore the back faces while selecting primitives from the top view. I know there is an option like "Select Front Facing Only"...but it doesn't really do that in my case... For example we have a grid and a box below it. How can we select only the Grid's primitives and ignoring the box primitives, while selecting from the top view.
stevenong
Hi there, You have to use either Lasso or Brush Picking in Shaded mode to do what you want. I'm not sure why it doesn't work for Box Picking. Cheers! steven

Marc
Hi there, You have to use either Lasso or Brush Picking in Shaded mode to do what you want. I'm not sure why it doesn't work for Box Picking. Cheers! steven Because SESI insists that it can't be done. Bit of a conundrum, I know. Lasso works though, so that's good enough.
