br1
Hi, I'm looking for a solution to this problem. I have two objects. A is an extruded and shattered Font and act as RBD fractured object. B is a box (with a few divisions) that acts as a static object. When I animate B's transforms to smash it into A, I get the correct behaviour, the dynamics react and object A explodes. If I want to use a wave deformer to animate object B instead of transforming it, I cannot get B to interact with A. I enabled deforming geometry in the solver, but it doesn't seem to be enough. I guess I miss something. I attached my example file, hoping someone can shed some light on that problem. Thanks Bruno deforming_static_rbd.hipnc
rbowden
Hello, Inside your dopnet there is a checkbox for 'Volume Velocity for Collisions' on your Rigid Body Solver. Check that box and you should get the results you are looking for. -Ryan
