  1. Tsunami Wave

Hello, I am trying to create a tsunami scene in which a giant ocean wave bringing a large whale with it hits the ground and enter in the city. And of course, I am taking 2012 Shots as reference. Now which is the best way to create a wave like that and also I tried ocean waves node and merged that with ocean spectrum in wavetank_initial but in the fluid simulation particles do not maintain their shape and they just fall down and get mixed with the ocean(Please find attached screenshot). And in Wavetank_Inital it follows the pattern but I when simulate it in wavetank_fluid after some frames the hero wave just starts to fall. So, Whats wrong here, the Process or there is another way to do this effect? Kindly guide me on that. Thanks I have also attached the reference video. Ref.mp4
  2. Whitewater from Ocean Waves

hey, I created some ocean surface with the ocean waves shelf tool. My goal is to have some whitewater and mist on top of that which is colliding with the pillar in the middle. I wanted to ask you if you have some tips in general for me what could be a good way to go. I looked at the whitewater shelf tool but it works with flip simulations underneath and my setup is not simulated at the moment. I thought I create the ocean surface itself without simulation as the results are pretty nice and than some simulated white water and collision foam on the pillar...but I get a little stucked. Again I would be very thankful for some general tips about the workflow. kind regards Jon
  3. Hey guys. So i've done a flip simulation and created a VDB mesh from it. Then created a new scene and added ocean waves from the shelf tool and added displacement to the VDB mesh using ocean waves. So now i'm happy with my displacement on my flip mesh, and i want to create an infinite(large ocean) and composite these 2 renders later in post production. How do i apply the same displacement on my VDB mesh to an infinite/extended/large ocean? I have attached a screenshot and my .hip file, hope you guys can help me out Ocean_Displacement_01.hip
