Thanks for posting it. pelos, $NPT is there so that the Source node generates as many particles as the number of points the geometry source has. The variable $NPT means "Number of points". What are you referring to? there is a group node after the particles nodes, but i understand now, is to activate the aanoise, wind, so the particles start moving, this groups is set to Sphere and this are the properties that are animated, now i understand. in that way you can leave the particles statics and when you want the effect start, just move it =).
