Jason
MSA remote Cool beans! Cool stuff indeed. I wonder if there is an Android app that does something similar? (I bought a Motorola Droid yesterday) Naturally we're all thinking of controlling Houdini sessions with this now... Imagine using your phone as a multitouch mouse input with accerometer/tilt/compass navigation? Strap your phone to your mouse and go! --Of course, a two-minute search showed: http://remotedroid.net/

I have a webcam + face recognition controlling my camera in Houdini right now. If I lean forward or back or move left or right, it'll detect my face size and position and pivot my camera around. It's a lot of fun, and it makes me wish for a better "realtime" mode in Houdini since I rely on CHOPs filtering to smooth out the (jerky) camera movement. bhaveshpandey
well actually I dont know the name..but its not using Wii controller.. its using the iPhone touch OSC and CHOPs.. PS: @jason you might not find it that interesting because you already have something similar set up..for me it was fun.. Magnus Pettersson
Really cool, would be cool to see if they would be able to solve realtime in 3D. While they are at it maybe someone can implement that magic ´hollywood-make-nice` button we all know that the big companies have and plug it into Houdini? Haha sounds really cool, plus it sounds like a good workout? Edited December 14, 2009 by Magnus Pettersson
