FrankFirsching Posted August 10, 2003 Share Posted August 10, 2003 The scroll-lock button tells houdini to not intepreted some keys as short-cuts, but as input for CHOPs. For example lay down a keyboard-CHOP and wire it into a record-CHOP. Graph the record-CHOP. Make sure the realtime-toggle in the playbar ist set to true. Now press the scroll-lock key and start playback. If you hit "1" on your keyboard the CHOP will record your input. This won't be the case when the playbar isn't orange.
