thinkinmonkey
Hi all, here's the trailer of movie "The darkest hour", second opera of Chris Gorak, director of "Right at Your Door", that I consider a little pearl as story. It's about "...five young people who find themselves stranded in Moscow, fighting to survive in the wake of a devastating alien attack". In the trailer there are nice effects like destructions and dissolving-in-pieces of all kind: buildings, things, people and one dog (yes! you're warned!). Have a nice day. abvfx
I loved right at your door. Its one of those movies people will watch in 10 years time and remember the constant anxiety people had about terrorist attacks and if it did happen how would it play out on a human level. Specifically a married couple. These aliens seem truly terrifying. Im sure Houdini is at fault here.
mawi
Some really nice shots there. Someone here worked on it? It´s a matter of taste, but I really dont like the look of the sketchy alien POV.

After that movie, I thought per days about how I could react in that situation. Anyway, I like that stealth-electric-invisible shield, but I hope the alien design is strong too! And, yes! I'm waiting to know more if Houdini has been used... what a '80 nerd kid I am!!! It´s a matter of taste, but I really dont like the look of the sketchy alien POV. Yeap, I thought the same, but after watching it more times, I think it could be like aliens view the world through their helmets, a sort of advanced HUD that simplify what is in front of them, something like Predator and his helmet, that helped him to view the world better than his natural eyesight. Of course, that is just speculation.
