hopbin9
Looks good to me Love the classic feel it has. How about putting it on it's side, connecting some strings to hold it place, have flames shooting out but the smoke travels upwards. That would be cool. thinkinmonkey
Nice result. As hopbin9 suggested, you should finalize your image in some manner, giving it a "soul": becuase it reminds my childhood, you can model other toys like little Lego astronauts, some police/militay cars... and recreating a lift off scene. gaurav
Thanks a lot folks !! Off to attempt a little scene now, as you guys suggested. I anticipate getting the right look for rising smoke and exhaust flames is going to be tricky without affecting the look too much, for which i may change composition, lighting completely. Its fun, will post something soon. Cheers,
gaurav
Hello folks Here is a little update, without changing too much of stuff. Found some astronauts which i had modelled and auto rigged in H sometime back, so just throwing them in to make a story. Also did a quick exhaust flames test which almost killed my pc's weekend I guess real challenge it is to get convincing results without resorting to post. A full launch off scene may take some time, but someday it will happen. Cheers, exhaust.mp4.tar.gz

gaurav
Thank you so much guys I like the exhaust animation: what did you use? That's a very basic smoke sim. I used only density to drive fire in pyro shader. Cheers,
