hatrick
hey, Is it possible to key a brush operation? I'd like to build a tool which allows to activate specific regions of a geometry by paint over time. (after that: group by color for later fracturing) ... Thank you HT

gui
Hello, You can use an animated metaball to paint attributes in the geometry with a magnet sop. In the attributes tab you can tell it to not affect position but to paint in the geometry. you can use the color to drive attributes that drive se animation. I did that in this video. The project is here. I used "affect position" just to see the effect working. I used the channel sop to get the motion from the spline.
