Fabiano Berlim
Just a small error from Sesi. The help path is set to "localhost:48626/nodes/dop/pyrosolver-2.0", but the help right location is "localhost:48626/nodes/dop/pyrosolver". You can also find it online: http://www.sidefx.co.../dop/pyrosolver Happy Hollydays! Edited December 28, 2012 by Fabiano Berlim

ryew
You might want to post this in one of the forums on the Side Effects website, where the developers will be more likely to see it and you can get an answer straight from the source (and perhaps the documentation fixed for next release too )
Filipp Elizarov
The best way to find an answer for that question - Right Mouse Button on any parameter -> More -> View -> View Dependencies.Sure It will help you a lot when you will learn Pyro and Smoke solvers.
Scratch
take a look at fxphd's intorduction to pyro in houdini and also watch the nice pyro intros of peter qint (vimeo)! Your parameters basically control how much the fire (which is emitting temperature like in real life) actually adds to the temperature field, and which field (burn, heat) contributes how much to this. This furthermore effects the overall behavior of the sim, because the temperature field controls things like boyancy and other things. Anyone, correct me if I'm wrong with this.
