rgallet
Hey, I'm new to Houdini and would like to learn how to do something like this: http://www.imaginaryforces.com/featured-work/commercials/yoplait-peel/ thank you Ryan
lukeiamyourfather
When you say you're new to Houdini, how new? Have you already tried a few things and got stuck somewhere? Also, welcome to the forum!
rgallet
New like I've only been working in it for two weeks! I've done a couple of tutorials on fracturing an object and creating a depth attribute to trigger the fracture so it gives the illusion of an object crumbling apart. It's beginning to make sense to me and I'm learning to navigate but again, I'm only two weeks into learning Houdini and its naming convention. The furthest I've gotten has been taking a fractured object and applying cloth to it but I'm still playing with the settings in cloth to figure out how everything works. I know that this peel effect is pretty ambitious to learn jumping right in but I'd like to learn something that may touch on some aspects of it... thank you
