Black and White when I render

I am trying to render out a simple animation. (My first render, how exciting!) The problem is that it keeps coming out in black and white. What am I doing wrong?

I tried to attach the file, but I'm getting a message that says I can't upload the file. Sooooo . . . I attached a picture that rendered to show what isn't right. You should see LEXUS in big letters then Of Lincoln in black along the bottom of the L in Lexus with a big silver circle around those two. There should also be "Where Performance and Safety meets" in blue inside the circle but beneath LEXUS then Luxury in gold beneath that. This is all in front of a black background.

I dunno what to do!

It looks to me like you need to either turn down the dimmer on the lights or move them further away. I think it is just getting washed out from the light.

I have the objects oriented at 0 and the light at -1000. How much further should I move it? I'll check on the dimmer. I'm not sure what I have now.

try and remove all lights but one, see if it changes the picture.

It doesnt matter how far away your light is unless you have Attenuation activated.

I finally found out that I was applying my shaders wrong. Now that I fixed those, everything is working perfectly!
