Follyx
Hi, please, as a newbie its pretty hard to find small mistakes. Can anyone tell me why the particles in the popnet with a numhit attribute wont change the color as I expected? (attachement) Thank you in advance for any advice. numhit.hip Edited June 7, 2013 by Follyx
rafaelfs
Because your display flag was on not on the last node in the popnet. Once you change it should work as expected. Cheers

bloomendale
you have display flag on red color only and it shows up on particles collided with spheres. Everything works fine. if you don't see it might be problem with ogl. Try setting another driver - 3.2, 2.1, 1.2, h11 etc..
Follyx
already tried all available drivers opengl and H11. hmmm..... well
anim
I don't see the colors either while inside popnet1, just black particles, but as soon as I jump up one level, it is visible in SOPs so what you can do is jump up to /obj/geo1 where you have your display flag on popnet1 and lock that viewport using pin on top right then jump into popnet1 and you will still see the colors since you are still looking at the result of popnet in SOPs it may be different for you because the opengl problems vary among the versions and graphics cards that I don't know how it is right anymore
