maxpayne
Hello guys. I have a problem. I need to create glass of water with splashes simulation. My glass is fast moving object. Problem is that the particles leaking through geometry. I tried solve it but I didn't manage. I have done my glass animation in 6 times slower. I tried to set 20 substeps in dopnetwork and many many others variants but none of the those variants didn't manage solve my problem. Is there anybody here who had situation like mine ? How can I solve my problem ? Edited August 8, 2013 by maxpayne
Hudson
what type of collision are you working with? RBD or a kind of volume or VDB?
maxpayne
It is a static object.
Hudson
Alright, I guess you have checked that your collision volume is there. sometimes I forget about it. In this case I would recommend you to use volumes and preferrable VDB since it is faster.
pbarua
I think this will help you. http://forums.odforce.net/index.php?/topic/17793-how-to-fill-the-object-with-flip-fluid/
maxpayne
Yes. A collision volume is ok
maxpayne
I don't know why but my particles don't collide with VDB.
IvanPulido
Hi guys, any update of this? I have to do a freelance project something similar, water inside a flass, but the glass animation is too fast to keep all the water inside and to keep the fluid volume. I tried to use all kind of collision and does not work, substeps, differents ways to emit fluid, i update the velocity of the fluid using the same velocity of my glass animation. Somebody know some trick to keep the water inside the glass? Cheers!
