daehuck
Hi, guys I baked my dynamic scene into bgeo format But it's size is too big. 64mb per one bgeo. After bake, I read bgeo sequence in houdini and It doesn't fast at all. So can i get a more reduced size of it?? It's just a geometry. I don't know exactly why its size is too big. ANY COMMENTS WILL HELP FOR ME. Thanks
substep
.bgeo.gz will zip them up for you. They take a little longer to read, but are quite a bit smaller. I use them, as I don't have giga flops of space
CtrlLoki
you could try adding '.gz' to the end of your file path which will compression them. as in '.bgeo.gz'

yongbin
if you are working in networks, file size is affecting your read speed.
dobin
or you could save just the point representation of every piece read it back and copy stamp the pieces here is an example on the help card: http://www.sidefx.co...t/PointBasedRBD although the copy stamping could be very slow for large number of piece it's worth trying

However there is no clue to what type of Geometry sim we are talking about...
