Flip Fluid motion blur?

Hi guys,

 

I have fluid sim that has been meshed with vdb. I would like to have some motion blur on my render, but still haven't managed to get it working.

 

I can see there is "v" data on the mesh, and I've also an tried "attribute transfer" the velocity from the original cached particles. Also, "Geometry Velocity blur" is turned on, and "Allow motion blur" is on in the mantra node.

 

Any ideas how I can get this working?

thanks for your reply, I've just wacked the shutter speed up and I am finally seeing something.

 

 

 

Sounds like you turned up the shutter opening time - the opposite of turning up the shutter speed ;)

Yep that's right, should have said shutter speed value up! which is the same as you rightly point out to leave the shutter open for longer.

 

Also if you post your hip file, we can examine the problem in more detail

 

 

Thanks for your help and tip on multiplying the velocity, I would love to upload it's just too big to even attempt it.
