rohandalvi
Hello everyone, In the following video I go through the process of creating a Metallic Car Paint shader in Houdini. For this viode I'm using the vray carpaint material as a basis and recreating the parameters found in that material. For this video I decided to not use the ready-made shader model and instead use the PBR nodes to create a custom shader. The video also covers how to create a flakes map using procedural textures which can also be replaced based on your liking. The Houdini file can be found at the link given below. http://www.rohandalvi.net/blog/2015/1/29/metallic-car-paint-in-houdini regards Rohan Dalvi
