ParticleSkull
Hey guys, i'm trying to simulate something like Michiel Hagedoorn developed on this FEM Masterclass (around 1:06:39).He's basically creating a attribute (@volumemassdensity) that is readed by the finiteelementSolver to control the mass of the object at a point level.I've tryied to create something similar using a attribute VOP (instead of a point wrangle) but, for some reason, it doesn't work. I'm quite new to Houdini so I might be doing something very wrong there. What I tryied was to use a Bind Export Vop to send the mass values out of the vop sop.You can see a printScreen of my scene, with the vopsop setup here: image: https://www.dropbox.com/s/dyp6ldto23v7rs8/femmass.jpg?dl=0my file: https://www.dropbox.com/s/z1izm2m4ci1lpxw/FEM_massAttribute.rar?dl=0Best,Alvaro Edited February 6, 2015 by ParticleSkull
ayidi
volumemassdensity is a primitive attribute not a point attribute
