Help for the Houdini newbies :)

In this forum are many pros that use Houdini in production and also some houdini newbies and intermediates . Couldnt the pros in here make some tasks ( things that could happen to someone in real production ) for the newbies ( without making example scenes because i think the pros have already enough work ) . If they could do that and the newbies like me try to solve the task and get comments and tips on their progress i am shure this would help more then reading tutorials and isnt too much work for those who comment and help .

I hope you like my idea

Hey,

I mean for doing the alien skin. lol Thats pretty much what you need to do that assignment. ;):) Actually I suspect the real challenge would be to do realistic looking human skin with subsurface scattering.

Hey Sven

Try reading some of the effects challenges in the archive. Alot of them are fairly straightforward but quite challenging. People also post their hipfiles for you to look at, so you can get an idea on how other people do it.
