Werner
Hi,I'm trying to get HQueue to work here at work (just a test for now), but I'm having a hard time to get it up an running.Houdini FX (with License server) and HQueue are both installed on the same Win 7 pc. I tried to add two other pc's as clients, which worked. HQueue picks them up.When I submit a test render the server (which is also a client) renders fine, but the client pc's gives me problems.I'm getting a license errors..."No licenses could be found to run this application. Please check for a valid license server host"Windows firewall is off and the license server shows 5(default) licenses available. I can ping the server from both the client pc's with no problem.Any ideas? It seems like this should be fairly easy to set up, but I'm having a hard time to get it to work. I'm really tired at this stage, so I might be missing something stupid.
lukeiamyourfather
Are the render clients setup to look at the queue server for licenses? By default Houdini installs will use the localhost for licenses. This can be changed with the "License Administrator" application.
