[FLIP] Waves on the beach, some help needed

I've seen few tutorials how to drive flip sim with oceanevaluate. However I'm having some troubles that I don't know how to deal with. So this is how it looks like now:




1. I don't know why my waves are produced only close to the shore. if I set the scale velocity in my sourcevolume to higher values the waves seem to still affect only this region by the shore.


2. The fluid tends to act like some water in a glass. Dancing from left to right. And it's behaving very lazy, nothing reallike.


Can you give me some tips? Push me in a proper direction?
